Oliver Webb celebrated his debut in motor racing by claiming second place in the 2005 T Cars Autumn Trophy and finishing on the podium over the course of the full season. He then switched to single-seater racing, competing first in Formula BMW, then in Formula Renault 2.0. In 2009, he earned third place in the latter’s British series, before challenging for the title in the highly competitive British F3 series which was eventually won by Jean- Eric Vergne. The Manchester-born driver’s career continued with programmes in Formula Renault 3.5 and Indy Lights, prior to a move to GT and prototype racing in the course of 2013, with his first podium success following at the inaugural 24 Hours of Dubai.
